Local Cafe Art

When I actually had a job, I went to a local cafe one day and found it to be a bevy of retro and neon art. I liked it so much I gone and done a collage:

Poem regarding the state of Modern Dissolution

This Vice article reminded me of a poem I wrote a while ago, which fit strangely well with the content of the article. Best to read the article first for proper understanding.

I think it's the best thing I've ever written:

We are the children of a lost generation,
To forever remain in the dark.
We are the blind feeling our way through a dungeon of madness,
To try and find the light.
We are the de-throned, despised, misunderstood and ignored,
we are real until the light comes sets us in stone.
We slumber wide-eyed and restful,
Waiting for a sweet release which will not come.

We wander forever, searching for a spark that we never find.

Long live Gonzo.
